CRIME update for May 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the New Basford Police beat area during the month of May.

Burglaries residential = 0

Criminal damage = 2

Between 22/04 and 23/05 Rawson Street – Vehicle passenger side window smashed. 

Between 09/05 and 11/05 Nottingham Road – Paint thrown all over property causing damage to walls.

Theft of motor vehicle = 1

12/05 Liddington Street – Amazon delivery van stolen with keys left in vehicle whilst left abandon on street.

Theft from vehicle = 4

14/05 Fisher Street – At approx. 10:30am, Samsung mobile phone stolen from work van. 

17/05 Rosetta Road – Driver side window smashed, cash stolen.

Between 21/05 and 22/05 Sandon Street – Theft of rear number plate.

21/05 Eland Street – Work tools stolen from vehicle.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
